Default Fearless paragon build

I finally found a paragon build I liked, so I share it, partly in hope of seeing other people's new builds with "There's Nothing to Fear!".
I tried the same build with stunning strike instead, but I got too little use of the daze, thing were too often near dead or non-caster by the time it had charged. I don't have a zealous mod, so my leadership is a bit higher than I had otherwise wanted.
I included soldier's defense as a cancel stance rather than any great desire to stance tank. I do try to draw aggro to myself (by pulling and by being near the front) since I have a lot of armour, but monsters prefer to hit squishies so I am seldom under attack. I can't think of any more useful stance however.

Spear Mastery 14, Tactics 11, Leadership 11
[skill]"Watch yourself!"[/skill][skill]Cruel Spear[/skill][skill]Blazing Spear[/skill][skill]Frenzy[/skill][skill]Leader's Comfort[/skill][skill]Soldier's Defense[/skill][skill]Signet of Return[/skill][skill]"There's Nothing to Fear!"[/skill]

I would say you'd be better speccing Leadership more for Focused Anger. Couple that with the Warrior skill 'Save Yourselves' for a party wide +100 AL with a reasonable uptime if your rank in Allegience is enough.

Or use Go for the Eyes/Critical Agility instead and concentrate on They're on Fire/Theres Nothing to Fear. Which leaves you open to spec higher in Leadership again to get as much as you can from the 2 main shouts. TNTF is very energy intensive, even for a paragon, so having to cycle between Frenzy/Soldiers Defence regularly won't be too much help.

Edit: Thinking about it... using Critical Agility/GftEs for energy management, leaving your elite slot open if you don't use Focused Anger so you can spam Incoming, They're on Fire and Theres Nothing to Fear would give your party.... well a little too much damage reduction to be sensible.

Personally, 8% faster attack speed isn't a good enough reason to bring Frenzy over Aggressive Refrain. Especially since you're using another slot as a cancel for your Frenzy when instead you could have your unstrippable perma-IAS and a free slot.

I think Defensive Anthem would block a lot more damage than Incoming! would reduce with a longer uptime to boot.

I wish, but it is at 7k atm...
Assassin secondary doesn't have useful skills other than CA, otherwise CA certainly would be nice. I guess I should try it out anyway, it's a free IAS after all.
EDIT: tried GFTE+CA. Powerful stuff, I recommend it for anyone speccing into command.

I find the 25e activation cost too tough, I need my energy at the start of the battle. And frenzy is a more fun skill than AR.

actually the way to get around the high cost of AR is to cast watch you self right after, this will pull your energy up to higher then 10 for sure, giving you a chance to cast other thing. You just have to use adren shouts to get more energy, if u add a skill like focused anger this will give u alot more adren after hits, making it easy to keep your energy at 30 for the whole time even if casting expencive skills. hope it help.

I use a zealous spear, after casting agressive, until GftE charges. I then cast Focused and switch to a sundering spear. I have found though, that the aggresive + Focused tends not to work on mobs smaller than about 5, in PVE as everything is generally dead before I can get everything up and running. Once it is up though, watch out.

Why not spec 10 tactics? The difference between +18 armor and +20 armor isn't much and you can afford to pump Leadership a bit more most likely (or if not, by bumping spear a notch down).

and 2 slots just for frenzy + cancel stance is less effective than Aggressive refrain, like the posters above said.

I just keep it all the time with reapplying shouts.

My build
[skill]Barbed Spear[/skill][skill]Blazing Spear[/skill][skill]"Go for the Eyes!"[/skill][skill]Anthem of Flame[/skill][skill]Aggressive Refrain[/skill]"There's Nothing to Fear!"

Anthem of Flame > Aggresssive Refrain > GftE > TNtF > keep GftE/TNtN and spam spear attacks when you can. You have two more slots to use (Disrupting Throw). You could replace Blazing Spear with Wild Throw.

Spamming anthems in PvE exploration can be a real pain though. These days I either have a shout like ToF I can effortlessly reapply while moving, or else have dual charge among hero/hench. So I can understand if one prefers frenzy. Flail is also possible since the movement slowdown is no loss on spears.

Anyway there's little need for a "TNTF" build because every paragon going into any remotely difficult area should automatically bring it. It's stuff like Save Yourselves that you need to build around to abuse.

The great thing about TNTF is that you really don't have to have just one build centered around it. You can keep it up with just about any elite as long as you don't put too many energy heave skills in your bar and you have GftE with 12 points in Leadership. I personally liked running with [skill]Soldier's Fury[/skill] when I ran the build since a 33% unstrippable IAS is nice and allows use of other shouts as well, but even utility elites such as Caudery Signet and such can be put to good use if you need them for a particular mission (such as Abaddon's Gate).

*update* Currently I've been using the following build:
[skill]"Go For The Eyes!"[/skill][skill]Spear of Lightning[/skill][skill]Glowing Signet[/skill][skill]Anthem of Flame[/skill][wiki]There's Nothing to Fear[/wiki][skill]"Fall Back!"[/skill][skill]Soldier's Fury[/skill][skill]Signet of Return[/skill]
